Mental Health & Love

In the past two months two of my private coaching clients each had a child go through a significant mental health challenge—and sadly, both kids were hospitalized. My heart goes out to them.

You probably already know that anxiety, depression, and stress are not uncommon for youth these days—and definitely not unfamiliar for us adults.

My heart feels for them.

If you feel discouraged by the state of the world, exhausted from too much screen time, worried about finances, lonely and isolated, uninspired, or just incredibly tired—you are not alone.

My heart is with you.

In our own way—everyone is going through something.

So how do we navigate through, dear one?

LOVE.

Love for ourselves by being gentle, kind, and patient.

Love for our family, friends, and community by being caring, helpful, and present.

Love for our human race—and those we do not personally know—by being compassionate, open-minded, and empathetic.

Love is what we need—now more than ever.

May today’s holiday of Love remind you to be in your heart. To slow down, to be present, to take deep breaths, to get grateful, and to love yourself and our human family.

This would be healing.

Happy Valentines Day, I love you.
