Meet My Boo

August 5, 2025

I’m JodiGolda

I want to share about him—not just because of our unique love story—but because of the courageous journey he’s on to live with more meaning and authenticity.

Will has spent nearly 40 years working in IT; 25+ of those with the city of San Francisco.

The good news is, he’s enjoyed his work. He’s loved diving into technology, using it to empower organizations and teams in improving their work experience, leading technical teams, and having the privileges that come with being a civil servant, such as a union.

But here’s the thing …

While Will’s role may seem “perfect” from the outside, on the inside, he’s committed to something more. He’s called to more alignment, meaning, and authenticity. And, he’s ready for his outer world to match his inner landscape.

That’s why, in just three months, WillBoo is pulling the plug and taking retirement from City employment.

It’s big, it’s courageous, and … it’s mysterious.

Even though he has clarity on retiring, he’s unsure what’s next. He’s stepping into the unknown, riding waves of anxiety and uncertainty, unsure what his old identity will become or who he’s becoming.

But still, he’s going for it.

He’s trusting his inner wisdom and moving forward with grace, knowing that this new path will lead him to a life that feels more authentic and aligned.

If you’re feeling a pull for something deeper and more aligned, even if you don’t know what’s next—know that what you’re experiencing is completely normal.

Transitions and outgrown identities are part of life.

And yet they can feel uncomfortable, especially when everything on the surface seems fine—like your secure job and familiar home.

But deep inside, you’re yearning for more. You’re wanting your outer world to align with your inner truth. And even though it might seem crazy to others, trusting your inner voice is an act of bravery.

Just like Will, it’s okay if you don’t have all the answers right now. The courage lies in trusting yourself, listening to that call, and stepping into the mystery. That’s the leap you need to create the life waiting for you.

Your journey may be mysterious, but your truth is clear. And your truth will always guide you toward the life you’re meant to live next.

This is the work I love to do with my clients—helping you navigate outgrown identities and transitions, embrace the unknown, and align with the life that’s calling you.

If this resonates with you and you’re ready to step into your own transition—if you’re feeling that pull for something more meaningful, even if you are unsure of what’s next …

I warmly invite you to book a Navigate What’s Next Call with me.

On this call, we’ll explore what you do know about the path ahead, uncover what might be standing in your way, and discuss how—with my coaching support—you can move forward with confidence, clarity, and a regulated nervous system.
