When Success Changes

I’m JodiGolda

I was sought after by media outlets, led a large team, traveled the world teaching, and enjoyed multiple revenue streams including passive income.

But ultimately, it was time to let go of that version of success.

Letting go wasn’t easy. Stepping away from something so “successful” made me question: Who am I without it?

It’s a strange thing: when your work is successful—moving on can feel like letting go of a part of yourself.

But here’s what I’ve come to know as truth …

Success doesn’t have to mean what it used to. It’s meant to evolve—as you evolve.

What I longed for wasn’t more achievement, hustle, visibility, or external validation—and it definitely wasn’t defined by anyone else’s expectations.

I wanted a different kind of success. One rooted in authenticity, alignment, and who I am now.

Letting go of my past version of success became the doorway to that. To something more aligned, more current, and more me.

So after I sold NGY, I chose a different path. I went from running a complex, multi-faceted business to working as a solo entrepreneur—with a spacious schedule, purpose-driven work, and deep, soulful connections with my clients. A new, more aligned version of success—one that truly feels like mine.

Maybe you’re here too.

Maybe you’ve built something that once felt like a dream with a good income, a nice home, a respected leadership role, a thriving business, and a full calendar that once energized you. Maybe you’ve reached personal milestones that once felt deeply important.

And maybe lately … that version of success doesn’t quite resonate anymore. Not because it wasn’t meaningful—but because you’re changing. You’re outgrowing an old identity and you’re hearing a quiet, but very real, invitation to redefine what success means to you now.

If that’s true for you, know that it’s normal. Many successful women reach a moment when what once felt like success no longer fits.

The good news?

It’s not failure. It’s transition. A doorway toward greater alignment.

And while yes, it can feel disorienting, unsettling, even mysterious … there is a pathway through.

It begins with inner work, deep listening, and with giving yourself permission to redefine success—not based on cultural pressures or other people’s expectations, but anchored in your own values and desires.

When you redefine success on your own terms, you can design a life and business that actually feels good to live inside.

Maybe it looks like a work schedule with real breathing room. Maybe it’s clients you love working with. Maybe it’s weekends off, or time for creativity, or deeper relationships with your partner, your kids, or yourself.

When you create success that feels true for you, it stops being something you chase—and becomes something you naturally embody. From that place, your work feels nourishing, your decisions feel clear, and your contribution feels meaningful again.

And that version of success? It’s waiting for you. And you’re allowed to claim it.
