My truth is that I know the power and importance and peace I feel when I start my day with me, but sometimes I forget. I am human, after all.
But I’m glad I caught myself. I’m glad I remembered that when I start my day with me, I feel grounded, empowered, and ready to rock my day.
So now I’m back in the routine that serves me. The one where I start my day with slow morning movements and conversations with my Self in bed, followed by a large mason jar of collagen, magnesium and water, and then a return to bed for a daily read from Mark Nepo’s Book of Awakening, 15 minutes of meditation and morning pages, aka journaling.
Here’s what I know: Every day is a new beginning and a chance to claim your Self. To engage in a morning practice that says, “I matter.”
Whether it is a one minute breathing exercise or a one hour practice of Yoga, starting your day with you is always possible. We just need to remember to choose to do so.
So, dear One, how can you start your day with you?
