Should I stay in the relationship that no longer feels aligned, or let it go?
Should I stay in the job that pays the bills but drains me, or make a change?
Should I stay in the hometown I’ve outgrown, or begin somewhere new?
These questions are not small. They are life-shaping questions.
And they can be all-consuming—in the middle of the night with restless sleep, and during the day with endless searching. For me, it can feel like a scraping at my soul.
And yet sometimes, your truth can feel far away.
Far away because your mind convincingly tells you you’re not sure what you want.
Far away because part of you wants safety, and another part of you wants change.
Far away because you feel scared of the unknown or weighed down by the possibility of disappointing others.
If this is you, I see you. I know what it’s like to be at a threshold like this.
I’ve done it myself: I sold my 21-year business, moved to Portugal, and ended a recent relationship.
And here’s what I’ve learned from my own uncertain seasons and from the women I coach who are questioning stepping into a new chapter …
Indecision can be exhausting.
Wavering can take a toll on your nervous system.
And staying too long without choosing—one way or the other—can leave you feeling less confident, and more stuck.
And here’s the spoiler: you may not need more time to think.
You may need to clear the old patterns and unhelpful beliefs your body has been carrying—the ones that have kept you from trusting yourself.
Because when you get to know, understand, and reintegrate the parts of yourself that learned it wasn’t safe to trust yourself, you can hear what is true. You can feel what is yours and trust yourself enough to choose.
You can be empowered.
You can have integrity.
And you can make an authentic choice that gets you out of limbo and into action … where fear, grief, and uncertainty can come with you, not stop you.
I am not suggesting that you hurry to make a decision—about your job, relationship, or home—nor would I ever tell you which choice to make. I believe you have an inner knowing about what is true for you, even when it feels hard to access.
It’s okay not to know whether to stay or go. But, it can be hard to cross this threshold alone. The right kind of inner work can help you hear yourself more clearly, quiet the noise of old patterns, and make an authentic choice that comes from a place or real trust.
I am passionate about coaching women at these thresholds—where you are at the edge of something next and new, where you are ready and uncertain, and where you may feel stuck yet deeply longing for what’s more aligned and true.
I have a few spaces available for private coaching, and I would be honored to walk with you through your clarity, your transition, and into your next chapter.
If you’re feeling confused or overwhelmed about whether to stay or go, and scared to step into the unknown, my coaching is the kind of work that helps you gain clarity, confidence, and the courage to move forward.
If this message speaks to your heart, I’d love to connect.
