I am sure you will agree, there are many extraordinary women of history who have made a social, technological, and scientific impact on your life. Women truly have made our nation and world more accessible, free, beautiful and just. They are strong, inspiring & deserved of our attention.
Like these leading ladies who said these wise words …
You must never be fearful about what you are doing when it is right. -Rosa Parks
Women belong in all places where decisions are being made. It shouldn’t be that women are the exception. -Ruth Bader Ginsburg
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. -Margaret Mead
The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched — they must be felt with the heart. -Helen Keller
No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. -Eleanor Roosevelt
You’ve got to learn to leave the table when love’s no longer being served. -Nina Simone
But it doesn’t stop there. Today women of all ages and stages are influencing us, perhaps in small but significant ways. The ones who love us, teach us, inspire us, and help us. The ones who are friends, family, co-workers, educators, public figures and front-line workers.
They too deserve our acknowledgment.
A few women that I am currently celebrating for their badassery, authenticity, loving hearts & wholeness are: my Mom Rookie, my bestie Kali, my niece Lia, my therapist Betsy, my Women’s council, my soul sisters Suzanna, Kerry, Zahava, Rosie, Caroline, Firefly, Gina, Clara, Tami, and Sarah.
Also, the women who inspire me and with whom I get to collaborate, coach & consult: Jen, Katie, Lindsay, Shari, Emily, and Pleasance.
And, the women entrepreneurs who I am currently blessed to be learning from. I share them with you here in hopes you’ll check them out too …
Laurie Wagner – who sends videos of poetry and teaches Wild Writing.
Lissa Rankin – who offers generous content on covid, Healing with the Muse and spiritual bypassing.
Trudi Lebrun – who has a podcast, newsletter and coaching programs with a *JEDI* approach for impact-driven entrepreneurs.
Alexandra Franzen – who inspired me to drop-out of social media and teaches all things Get It Done.
Rachel Rodgers – who is the Founder of Hello Seven, a coaching company helping women become millionaires.
Susan Miller – who drops the most on point daily and monthly astrology readings.
How about you, dear One. Which woman or women are you loving on these days? Who is inspiring you? Who is teaching you? Who is supporting you?
Whether past or present, famous or civilian, I’d love to hear from you. If you’d like, leave a comment below and share who is making your life more meaningful, beautiful, blessed, fun and rich?
And if you aren’t up for sharing with me, which I hope you are, then how about acknowledging the women in your life directly. Let them know the difference they are to you. Give them a call, send them a text, write them an email, a social media shout out. Or … give them one of these curated gifts that not only empower women but proclaim their accomplishments.
Women everywhere – past, present and future, THANK YOU!
