Imagine … a sisterhood container of highly successful, powerful female executives taking a sacred pause to connect with each other and learn about themselves.
The topic!? Shifting out of auto-pilot and becoming more mindful—at work and at home.
You may already know, auto-pilot is when you act with unconscious reactivity, frequent impulsivity, and un-aware habituality.\For example …
🤔 You get triggered by an email and respond harshly to a loyal team member—only to regret it later.
😕 You stay stuck in a cycle of over-working and under-living—afraid that if you took personal time off, you might be looked down upon, despite your high work ethics.
🫣 You delegate a task but it takes “too long”—so you jump in resentfully and blame the other for not doing their job well.
😯 You book your calendar with back-to-back meetings without time for a breath or bathroom break in between—way more focused on other people’s needs than your own.
Can you relate?
Well, these wise women in the circle could! They had a lot to say on this topic and were exquisitely empathetic with themselves and each other.
Especially when we normalized this phenomenon. Especially when we identified the root cause. Especially when we spoke about there being another way.
Because being on auto-pilot is a learned behavior.
It’s what culture values and family systems model.
And, it runs deep.
It runs through corporate America and through most every woman’s nervous system in the boardroom. Also, in most entrepreneurs, parents, and well, humans!
It runs deep in society, communities, and homes.
It is an epidemic.
And it has a cost.
In the workshop, the women shared their personal impact saying it looks like: burnout, anxiety, disconnection, missed opportunities, lack of presence, dissatisfaction, and an imbalance that grows into health issues … to name a few.
<< Test First Name >>, breaking free from auto-pilot behaviors and becoming more mindful—by doing the deep inner-work of understanding the origin and retraining your brain takes time.
This workshop was a toe-dip in these waters. And, it is was eye-opening for all!
Because when you stop reacting unconsciously and start responding intentionally …
😀 You can have more peace in your every day life.
🥰 You can be less stressed and anxious.
😌 You can have presence and connection with others.
😋 You can feel better about how you are showing up.
😁 And, you can be the effective, powerful leader and person that you are proud to be in the world—at work and at home.
Right now, more than ever, the world needs the best version of you. Your workplace and co-workers need your mindfulness. And, your family and loved ones need your presence.
If you sense that you might be operating on auto-pilot—and you crave more intentionality—please be compassionate with yourself and know that there is another way
I am here to help.
