I say “surprised” because, on paper, Next Generation Yoga was everything I had worked for!
The business had strong revenue, a talented team of teachers and trainers, scaled global impact, and a robust line-up of products and programs—from in-person trainings to online curriculum and licensing opportunities.
I had built a values-based company that I loved. My heart was full bringing yoga and mindfulness into schools, certifying teachers, and empowering families and communities around the world.
It was the kind of business many people dream of creating—and for a long time, it was my dream too.
But quietly—and, naturally—I was changing.
As the company grew, I began to feel a subtle but persistent misalignment. The CEO role that once lit me up started to feel heavy and unfulfilling.
What had once felt like a soul-calling began to feel like something I was managing more than leading. In truth, my passion for my Kids Yoga business was dimming …
And simultaneously, something new was blooming.
Since 2010, I had been coaching on the side—supporting yoga teachers, holistic creatives, and entrepreneurs with their business growth, leadership development, and inner transformation.
And I loved this work!
I loved how energized I was while coaching. I loved how aligned I felt doing this work. And, I loved how meaningful the transformations were that I was co-creating with my clients.
Eventually, I realized … this wasn’t just a side passion. Coaching was to become the next season of my purpose work.
My next season rooted in self-honesty, authenticity, and deep alignment.
Selling my Yoga business wasn’t about walking away from something broken—it was about honoring what was complete. It was about choosing to evolve, even when the version of “success” I had created looked perfect on paper.
It was about stepping into my next level of leadership.
And, it’s what led me here today—supporting leaders and entrepreneurs who are at a similar threshold.
