What’s Your Truth

Most people would have pivoted.
Many would have put the move on hold.
Some would have even stayed to see if the relationship would pan out.

There’s nothing wrong with that—and, it’s not that I didn’t consider those options. I did!

But every time I checked in with my Self, I heard the same clear message: Go.

Go! Because I had dreamed of this for years.
Go! Because I felt a deeper purpose calling me abroad.
Go! Because not going would have meant abandoning myself.
Go! Because it was my damn Truth to go.

And as a leader, staying true to your truth isn’t optional.

It’s essential.

You will always have a compelling reason to stay:

Stay in the career that feels cush but misaligned.
Stay in the role others expect of you.
Stay in the city that no longer inspires you.
Stay in the version of yourself that keeps you comfy but dims your light.

But leadership—the kind that’s rooted in love—asks something deeper …

That you honor what’s aligned.
That you follow what’s calling.
That you don’t settle for what’s familiar when what you need is what’s true.

Because when you are Leading with Love, you don’t abandon your Self.

You don’t shrink your goals or your vision.
You don’t hand over your power for someone else’s comfort

Leading with Love means honoring your truth, even when it’s inconvenient.

Even when it challenges expectations.
Even when it requires a sh*t ton of courage.

And here’s the good news!

When you do take bold, aligned action …
When you do listen to your truth, even when it’s messy or mysterious …

It can work out.

Not always how you expect, but often in the way your soul needs.

As for me?

17 months later, my bestie boo and I are in a deep, committed partnership! It’s been an extraordinary long-distance journey and I’m so glad I listened to my inner voice.

And, even more grateful that he supported me to go.

This is the kind of love I believe in … one that celebrates your expansion, not your compromise.

This is also the kind of leadership I believe in!

Rooted in self-trust.
Guided by purpose.
In service to something greater than comfort.

When you lead with love, you make brave choices—not perfect ones.

You listen inward before you look outward.
You choose alignment over approval.

And in doing so, you discover: your life and leadership rise to meet your heart.

Here’s a question I invite you to sit with …

What truth is asking to be heard inside you right now?

Whether it’s a whisper or a roar, your truth deserves your attention.

If you feel called, I’d love to hear what’s stirring in you! No pressure—just know that it brings me so much joy to witness your journey and hold space for your truth. Feel free to hit reply and share.

And, if you’re craving support to hear your truth more clearly—and to honor it with aligned, courageous action—this is the heart of my work. I have a few private coaching spots available for women ready to lead with love in their work and life.
