When One Door Closes

March 26, 2025

I’m JodiGolda

Recently, I let go of my storage unit in New Mexico, releasing beloved chachkies, well-worn clothes, and a chapter of my past. It was BIG.

I grieved hard.

Ginormous wailing tears. A farewell ceremony on the land. A sunset exodus drive through the desert—whispering gratitude to the place and people who held me so well.

And yet, I trust this truth: When one door closes, another opens.

As an entrepreneur, I know that leadership isn’t just about taking bold steps forward—it’s also about knowing when to release what no longer aligns.

When you close a door with clarity and intention, you create space for something fresh.
When you release what no longer serves, you make room for something more aligned.
When you honor the ending, you set the stage for your next-level success.

Endings—whether it’s moving homes, shifting your business model, letting go of an outdated offer, or stepping into a bigger leadership role—are pivotal moments.

They deserve a sacred act: a moment of gratitude, a ceremony, or simply allowing yourself to feel, grieve, release, and rise.

Because when you honor the closing, you create space for the opening.

You become available for the next opportunity, the next client, the next expansion of your vision.

It’s the work I do in my Leading with Love coaching program—helping you release what’s no longer aligned so you can step fully into your next chapter with clarity, confidence, and heart.

Is there something in your world that’s ready to close so a new door can open? A business evolution, a powerful pivot, or a calling to lead in a new way—and, you’re struggling to do it alone?  If so, I invite you to schedule a no-pressure, trauma-informed complimentary call. We’ll explore your vision, what’s in the way, and how coaching can support you in stepping through the next open door with clarity and ease.
