Doing a bathroom and kitchen remodel is not only a game of decision making—if you know you know—but also, here in Portugal where things are slooooow, it also requires plenty o’ time … let alone patience.
This project has pulled me in unexpected directions
I have spent days looking at Portuguese tiles. Tons of brain-power trying to understand European metrics. And, endless time having reno-conversations via Google Translate.
I share this with you, because this house project—and the time and resources that I’ve been able to devote to it—have given me new insights (and appreciation) around having my own business.
I am reminded that being able to create my own time and freedom to focus on this important personal project, is tremendous.
And that, even while I treasure my work, and I am committed to up-leveling my business—I recognize that that my career cannot always be my number one priority.
