I was ready, it was time, and deep down I knew I had to do it … or else I’d spend the rest of my life regretting it. Ever have one of those moments where your soul simply won’t let you play small?
You see, I have a value for living authentically. That means listening to—and acting on—my inner wisdom and truth. Even when it disrupts the status quo. Even when it ruffles a few feathers. Even when it means potentially disappointing others.
I don’t stay in what’s outgrown.
I don’t override my own inner knowing to keep others comfortable.
I don’t perform alignment while living misaligned.
So, when my heart called me to move abroad, circumstances didn’t stop me. Yes, logistics were BIG—I had a house to dismantle, a visa to attain, a life to relocate. And yes, emotions were high—mine and others’ (heck, I fell for my Boo right as I was packing. A story for another time!)
But two years ago, I chose what was true to me. I said yes to making a transitioning that was authentic in my bones.
Was it scary? Yes!
Was it unknown? Still is!
Was it doable? Abso-fuc*en-lutely!
And as I write you this, I am proud to say that I’ve created a life in Portugal that I truly love. One that feels joyful, purposeful, and is on my own terms.
Transitions are a natural part of life.
Some arrive uninvited, like hormones, a layoff, loss of a loved one.
Some we get to design, like a career pivot, a move abroad, a long rest period.
Unfortunately, culture doesn’t teach us anything about the transition journey. Not the normalcy of an outgrown identity, not about the grief and loss, not how to be in the messy middle, and definitely not how to create a new chapter that’s aligned and purposeful.
But, I do!
From my own many transitions: selling a business, moving continents, leaving a marriage—I’ve learned a process where you can navigate your transition passage with inner peace and empowerment—and create a new chapter with joy and purpose.
If you’re outgrowing an identity, like an empty nest, midlife, or burnout …
And you are ready for your next chapter to be filled with creativity, deep relationships, or work that’s deeply aligned and fulfilling … even if it’s all still in the Mystery
I invite you to book a Navigate What’s Next Call.
