About Me

(in this moment)

Today, my life is rich.
I see life as Gold, after all.

Today, my life is rich I see life as Gold, after all.

But it hasn’t always been this way. Like most humans, I go through seasons …
and I am currently in one of my favorites. I am in the bardo—a Buddhist term
that means a liminal state between death and rebirth.

Or, after what was and before what is to come. Most people would say the in-between
is the most uncomfortable time of life, and I somewhat agree. Yet for me it is also
the most beautiful, and the most fertile, creative, and unimaginable.

Or, after what was and before what is to come. Most people would say the in-between is the most uncomfortable time of life, and I somewhat agree. Yet for me it is also the most beautiful, and the most fertile, creative, and unimaginable.

I have dedicated my Self to being comfortable with the uncomfortable.

It’s been four years since I stepped away from my thriving career,
letting go of my world as I knew it. I just had to. After 21 years of wearing the same hat,
I knew I needed a change.

It’s been four years since I stepped away from my thriving career, letting go of my world as I knew it. I just had to. After 21 years of wearing the same hat, I knew I needed a change.

Can you feel me?

And so I listened to the whispers and I followed my heart. I sold my business, let go of my fancy car, gave up my home, put my stuff in storage, and said goodbye to my Bay Area community.

I embarked on an inner “underworld” journey and an outer worldly wander.

I declared myself on sabbatical, reduced my coaching hours, got off social media, traveled abroad, road-tripped the U.S., chilled out on Maui, did a vision fast in the desert, performed “death” ceremonies, deepened my relationship with the more-than-humans, worked closely with my Jungian therapist, sat in women’s circles, radically changed my diet, severed unfulfilling relationships … and if all of that wasn’t enough transformation, I also claimed my Hebrew name and started using Golda.

During all my unwinding, dismantling, and peeling away layers, I entered my cocoon—or, as Bill Plotkin (Animas Valley Institute) calls it, I entered Soul Canyon.

Unsurprisingly, I struggled. I felt lost, disoriented, alone, purposeless, anxious, and at times depressed. For me, not having meaningful work to focus on nor a home in a specific location (during a pandemic, no less!) was challenging. And yet, I found my way. Somehow, in surrendering to Life, trusting the Divine plan, and getting so intimate with Mystery,
I arrived exactly where I was meant to be.

Home in my Self.

A place where I know, trust, and love my Self.
A place where I have fulfilling relationships, a connection to land (Santa Fe / Tewa Territory), and meaningful work.
A place where I stand courageous, knowing my purpose
and ready to share it.
Doing my inner work truly unearthed my remarkable gifts.
And it can for you too.

To teach you.
